little down time

Post by mikeyr »

We had a little down time yesterday and today (and will again this weekend).

Lost a hard drive and had to shut the system down to put the new one in, then during the boot something went kablooie on the network and the system was up but not on the internet, I could get to it locally so I did not know it was off the net until I got to work...its all better. Now I want to do some upgrades to the operating system so it will go down again but not for long, 10-15 minutes at a time.

Just FYI, in case anyone cares...
