web connection speed

Post by mikeyr »

Hey, everyone what kind of net connection do you have ? in the past we kept this website easy on the graphics for the 9,600 modem users and yes we have been around that long, then as modem speeds crept up we increased our graphics.

With Cable/DSL modems now the normal web connection, what do our users have ?

Yes, I want to increase the graphics and make a standout site.

I have DSL; don't know the speed. Like my roadster, It's not slow, it's not fast.
It's half-fast.

Damnit, Gene. I've been trying hard to convince all those guys that ours cars aren't half-fast.

Dial up 56Kbps most of the time 44-46. I'd go WOO, WOO if I saw 56!

I have cable/dsl at home.

I have been called half-fast, or something like that... a few too many "f"s I think.
