Merry Christmas 2009

Post by Peter McKercher »

As things wind down for another year and the hustle and bustle of last minute shopping is almost behind us, I wish you all a very merry Christmas and hope to see you all in good health next year.

Happy Holidays to all our new Singer friends.

Some Singer specific shout-outs:

Phillip Avis: Thanks for sending badge # 78. Like a new gym shoes, or a fresh haircut, it's going to take us awhile to get comfortable with something so shiny!

Bill Howerth: My local best new Singer friend. I left a note on his '52 4AD at "Battle of the Brits" in Orchard Lake MI this past August. We connected.
He came for dinner one warm November night, so we folded the windscreen and blasted around the block in my new/old '53 4AD.

Tom Schwendemann: Thanks for parting with the Singer, Tom. If the 1974 Westfalia I traded you isn't as fun to drive, at least it's a comfortable place to sleep.

Wishing you all a healthy, happy and prosperous new year!

Nicely said everyone.

To all of our Singer family out there, all the best for the holidays, a Merry Christmas and here is to a bright and bountiful new year! Get out there, meet people and share stories and perhaps help someone with their project.

All the best from your NASOC Executive,

Hey Keith,

Our pleasure, my friend. Glad you like the badge.

Sounds like the NASOC family is getting together with you already. Did you take any pictures of the drive with Bill that we could use for the magazine???

As Paul says on behalf of the Executive...Happy New Year to you and all.

Cheers,
Phillip

Philip,

Sorry that Bill & I didn't grab any shots of the Singer in mid-drift. We will, however, sent you some photos of the car and some publication-worthy words to share with the faithful.
