Yeah, yeah...nag nag nag...

I actually have not been sent any Stowe info yet although the Pres. (might have been Phillip) did request I put something about Stowe on soon but I was busy at my own show this past weekend. Laguna Seca Historics and why were you not there Dave ? :)

I won't be there, I am a man with a plan and don't have time for Stowe...I officially committed to the Pres., Phillip and Tony that the 1.5 would RUN to the next show at Woodley park in March next year, stupid silly me actually said which year. I am still working on the garage and now hassling with the county tax guy which is delaying some further construction, the building was signed off but the tax guy says it added way more value than I think it did, so I can't "finish" it with insulation and drywall and build shelves, etc. until we settle on the value it added to the property, that is slowing me down. On another point, we expect a "El Nino" this year, that means LOTS and LOTS of rain so I better get all the drainage fixed on the property...have I mentioned how much I hate moving to new places yet?

Yes, I am having fun, I actually like the new place, just more work than I thought but I have the ultimate garagemahal for working on Singer's now (or will soon), 24x42 with just 2 little Singer's in it.

I will get stuff up on Stowe, no worries...will 31 days from now be ok ? :)

I would hope at a minimum we would see something here on the events section well in advance of the show. The bulletin board is probably the best dynamic marketing tool we have as a club.

Hi Mike, Yup it was me asking for the update. Although it is nice to remember the show in LA - what a great day and what great cars!! Too bad Jay did not drop by. Heck we will nab him next year. You can get the Stowe info from the NEWS, either the latest issue or the one before. Although you can't make it, part of you will be there ;)

Mr Craig! No sooner said than done! The info has been in the magazine for the past couple of issues and I just popped a note in the events section. I had no doubt that you would be there to lend a head... er hand, and please do not forget to bring Liz and the Gazelle. Oh, did I ever say how envious I am... of the Gazelle. No need to get jealous, yet ;)

Remember, 2009 is the 70th anniversary of the Roadster (1939 - 2009). With that model being the most populous, we should see one or two there. A couple of new ones will make their appearance! Inquiring minds will have to be there to see them in the "flesh".

If I had known Bill would be there, I might have tried to make it, too late now.

The Garage Gestapo (good name) are taking their sweet time, holding up lost of work, but it will work out in the end, I have no doubt.

Imagine my surprise when I found out!!! Knowing Bill for this long, and having visited him numerous times, I was happy to hear that he was intending on coming down. Bill is a very nice fellow, a quiet gentleman, a walking encyclopedia on Roadsters and huge supporter of the marque. He probably did not want to make a fuss, so this is just like him. Stowe is still almost 3 weeks away... so it is never too late! We could probably squeeze a few more in at Singer Central... although (for anyone who has seen Planes Trains and Automobiles) with 4 beds already spoken for keep your hands off my pillows!!!!
