Nasoc Singer Registry

Post by BRG »

Nasoc has its own Registry of cars and thanks to all members and non members who have contributed. Like Peters post about the Canadian Registry. I started compiling all the numbers sent to me on membership application forms. This probably started at least ten years ago. I have sorted out and continue to look for more cars and numbers and appreciated Peters Canadian Registry information contribution to Nasoc's Singer Registry.

I welcome all Singer owners to contact me with information about their Singers. I also have been watching ebay at the Singers that come up for sale. I try to contact the sellers and the buyers to make them aware of our club and if numbers are availible I add them to the Registry.
The more Singers we can add to the Registry the better we can track Singer past owners and what cars still exist. :D :D

You are one of NASOC's unsung heros. Your background work has been critical to the infrastructure of the club.

Another dimension of the Register is to be able to inform prosepective buyers of the history of the car. The web site has become the 1st point of contact for prospective buyers trying to determine if a Singer is the car for them or if the car they want is a pig or a gem. Case in point is the '33 Le Mans clone an owner has been trying to pawn off on unsuspecting buyers for years now. Since the car was known to the club, a disaster was averted.

With the assistance of the registry, we can better inform folks on their purchases so they don't become a nightmare.
