Singer Super Ten

Post by Peter McKercher »

Paul
You are likely right when you say "probably the only complete 1947 Singer Super Ten extent in North America". I've uncovered none with the Canadian Singer Registry. There is, however, a Singer Super Twelve in more or less the same state as yours in Alberta.

More fuel for completion of our database of cars, serial numbers, owners, etc. Browsing through Issue 3-2002 I note New member Faust Alvarez of Helena Montana has a 1948 Super Ten.

I am in awe that I have found someone else who has a Super Ten.(1949)

I am in Oz and have not heard of one here. (apart from mine)
About to try and start a resto but finding bits is not happening.

Information is rare so I hope to be able to get some from this site.
Just how far from as it was can I go before it no longer a singer?

Hi Bryan

Where in Aus are you? Have you joined SCCA? Two Super 10 hp were advertised for sale in the recent club magazine.

There is plenty of information available.
I live in Melbourne.

Best wishes
David
