SHOP TO REBUILD A 1948 ENGINE

Post by RICKSINGER »

Hello All,
I may be acquiring an engine from what appears to be a 1948 Model 9A.
The engine is disassembled and I believe most major parts are present. I will need a shop (of course preferably not too far away) to rebuild same and would appreciate all information anyone can provide to me regarding the location(s) of one or more engine shops that might be able to complete that task successfully.

I am located in the Lake George-Glens Falls area of Eastern New York State near the Vermont border.
Also, for reference purposes note that I am actually closer to Montreal Quebec than I am to New York City.

Rick and his wife Judy are still avid Singer owners and join us at Stowe for the British Invasion every year.

They still have the A Series Roadster, which our President, Paul Bouchard has assisted with, but they also now own a nicely restored 4AD Roadster.
