1952 4AD Singer Roadster light dip switch

Post by Stephen »

Hi everyone .. can anyone advise me of the lucas part number for the floor dip switch on my 4AD Singer roadster .. there is not a lot of room between the floor and the rear of the motor, so I would imagine the switch would have to have the terminals on the side of the switch ... Regards Stephen

Stephen,

The number I have listed in a Lucas catalog is 31260. It is listed as a 1951-55 Singer Nine. Probably a listing error. Of coarse nothing else has that number to interchange. Earlier and later Singers used the 31284 which a lot of British cars used. Hope it helps.

Hi Dave .. another problem solved ...I have checked out both the part numbers you supplied and it looks like the 31284 is the one I need, and there are a few still around in new old stock.. Thank you for your help, it is appreciated ... Regards Stephen
