Michael, I have been trying to find a steering nut to suit my 1937 Hillman and by the looks and measurements it is like the one you identified in your question. I was wondering if you could tell me where you got it from. Any assistance (from anyone) would be greatly appreciated as this is one of the last pieces in the 'puzzle' of my restoration. The nut I have taken off my car is so worn as to be unserviceable but I am also looking into refurbishing it or manufacturing a new one. Any thoughts? Many thanks, Nick Hillman.
