4AD OUT OF DEEP STORAGE

HI GUYS AND GALS;

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU REMEMBER MY BARN FIND 53 4AD THAT WAS IN THE BARN AT STOWE A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, BUT IT IS OUT OF DEEP STORAGE AND IN THE ON DECK CIRCLE. THE TWIN CARB ENGINE HAS HAD THE MACHINE WORK DONE SO IT IS TIME TO PULL THE ENGINE OUT AND PUT THE NEW ONE IN. THE CHASSIS WILL NEED BRAKES AND BEARINGS, AND THE BODY WILL NEED FLOOR BOARDS AND SEATS. THIS WILL HAVE MORE THE LOOK OF A SINGER RAT ROD THAN THAT OF THE CLASSIC THAT IT IS, BUT I WANT TO GET IT OUT AND RUNNING!!! MY SINGER PARTNER DALE'S 52 4AD IS A RUNNING CHASSIS AND HAS BEEN SEEN ON THE ROAD A COUPLE OF TIMES. DON'T TELL THE LOCAL LAW I DON'T WANT THE CAR IMPOUNDED. HIS WOOD WORK AND BODY SHOULD BE DONE THIS WINTER AND HE IS HAVING THE CHROME DONE NOW. THE SEAT FRAMES ARE DONE AND ARE WAITING TO BE COVERED IN FOAM, NO MORE SPRINGS!! WE HAVE THE PATTERNS MADE FOR THE SEAT COVERS BUT ARE WAITING FOR THE FOAM BEFORE WE CUT THE LEATHER. TWO RUNNING SINGERS THIS COULD BE A BANNER YEAR FOR THE RUSTY MOOSE GARAGE. WE HOPE TO HAVE BOTH OF THE CARS AT STOWE THIS FALL TO HELP MEET PHILIPS CALL FOR 20 + SINGERS THIS YEAR, WISH US LUCK.

Godspeed Forrest. Hopefully the addition of your two cars will put the event over the top. There are a couple of other potential never been seen cars that could show up, including one pre war. I'd like to say it will be an event never to be forgotten, but I'd prefer to say that it will be the new normal.

Is the motor out of the 4AD the original 1500 cc single carb and is it avalible for sale? I have an owner that is in need of an engine.
