4AD Grille now available

Post by ggvette »

After several attempts and a lot of time and frustration, I have finished what I believe to be a presentable
4AD grille.

I used mirror finish stainless steel for the vertical slats, and riveted them to the new top and bottom support
plates with stainless rivets.

I used my original grille as a pattern, and now have a shop set up to make others IF someone wanted one.

I originally thought I would make several and sell the extras, however I quickly discovered how time
consuming and difficult the task was. So I am offering to make more, should someone want
one. I will post pics should there be any interest.

If no interest soon, I will clean up the shop and get back to getting my 4ADT on the road for this spring.

Yes, as to cost, unfortunately it takes a lot of time and patience to fabricate one of these, so I suggest
a price of 300.00. I am retired now, so I do have the time right now.

Ok...thats it. Grant

Would you be interested in selling the grill pieces. I could assemble it myself and possibly save you time and me a little money?

thanks

Hey Grant,

I'm sure 4AD fans would be interested to see pics of the process of you making grille assemblies.

Do you have some pics to post?

Thanks for taking this on and offering to help others out!
