Nine & A Roadster Registrar

Post by Paul Bouchard »

FYI,

For those out there with Nine and A Series Roadsters, I have created an e-mail address for the Roadster Registrar:

roadster_registrar@yahoo.com

This way I can keep track of registrar stuff and when I pass the torch on to the next guy/gal then it can be seemless for the club & members.

Good Idea ! at first I thought, maybe I should create a registrars section on the board but some people will stick with e-mail.

Made this thread a "sticky" so it stays at the top

More cool Photos of Bob Groom's "Little Green Fighting Machine" from the British Car Day- August 6, 2006 at Eastwood MetroPark in Dayton, Ohio. The car is pretty much like Bob left it - badges and all! The car is a nice representation of a period piece, very original with a couple of after-market additions like a radio and wing mirrors. Nice to see that the car is still out there and running.

Too bad we always get stuck beside a Nash Metropolitan or a Vauxhaul Victor when we turn up alone. One good reason for the Singer folk to turn out in numbers.

Charlie
The Registrars are intended to be a recognized point of contact for members to direct questions to for each model of Singer. Ideally they are "experts" on the model they represent and can assist members with information on technical issues, unique characteristics of the model, original equipment, colour schemes, etc.

Hey Charlie,

All the Registrar's in NASOC has considerable expertise in the areas they were selected to maintain, so you should feel comfortable that you will be getting the best support.

Paul Bouchard is our Nine Roadster Registrar covering the 1946 to 1951 A. 4A and 4AB models. Paul has restored and worked on the A, 4A and 4AD models as well has having collected considerable information and photographic reference material on all Roadsters. He is also well plugged into sources of parts and expertise around the world and has amassed a collection of parts for these cars also. His own '48 Roadster is a very accurate and original example.

Dave Green is our man for the 4AD and 4ADT Roadsters up to the end of production. Dave has tinkered with these cars for many years and is a professional wrenchman by day so he knows his stuff! He is also our parts guy, so he knows all the bits and pieces and what other British parts will fit.

We're lucky ot have them on board.
