restoration parts website

Post by GeneA »

I just stumbled upon this website devoted to restoration supplies/hardware of all kinds. Has anyone on the list used it? I like the fact that its online catalog has photos of the parts, which I find useful. Haven't purchased from them yet, but might buy a few of their yoke & clevis pins for my mechanical brake linkage. Must first check sizes and also find out if the yokes will screw onto the the brake rods--probably a different thread. They also sell the Penrite steering box semi-liquid oil which I use in my steering box and fit great.

I have used them quite a bit and their catalog is one of the first places I look for odd&ends.

I also recommended them to Peter a few years ago when he was making top bows for his car, not sure if he went with them or not but they had steel in nearly the correct shape.

Absolutely. The half round steel is what I used for my top bows om my Nine Sports and the the half round aluminum was perfect for the trim piece that conceals the tacks that secure the canvass top at the back of the car.
