Oh to be in Ohio. This looks like a really viable project and not necessarily that expensive to complete.

I agree, it looks like a easy project. I actually considered it for a brief second, but with 2 pre-wars waiting patiently and my silly promise to my wife that the Mini would be the last car I work on until after the Le Mans is finished, I had to stop thinking it.

That does look like a nice car. The photos on eBay show one of very few original vinylide covered dashes that I've ever seen. Curious about the grill bars, though, with the hole for a crank. Seems like those bars may be cut down from a earlier model with a longer grill. I didn't think 4ADs ever had that hole, but please correct if I'm wrong. Still a great deal at the current bid of $3600.00, I reckon.

Yup...agree BRG, the grille slats are from a Nine - either A or 4A, not a 4AD!
