Fender to Running Board Rubbers

Post by Paul Bouchard »

Here are some photos comparing the Singer weatherstrip located
between the front fender of the A Series Roadster and running board with the product offered by Bill Haverly and the Moss Motors MG TC/TD product.

The Moss Motors product is too short in both directions, so I think the
Haverly product is the one to go with, you just have to cut the webbing
where it makes a 90 degree bend.

The Singer original is in the middle; Haverly product on top; Moss
Motors product on the bottom.

Hope that this helps!

Gene,

Great post! I especially like how the photos are just the right size. Brilliant!

I would have to agree with your selection. The "T" shaped rubber looks to be the best.

Thanks to Paul for modifying the photos so they would display--I couldn't figure out how to do it. My computer illiteracy is exceeded only by my mechanical incompetence!
