4AD Twin carby manifolds

Post by Stephen »

Hi everyone .. I have just acquired a twin carby head for my 4AD, does anyone have a 4AD twin carby manifold inlet & exhaust for sale, or know of one that will fit from another type of car.
Thanks ..

unfortunately nothing will fit from another car, the head is unique.

If you find a manifold you will be impressed with the extra power.

Or you can make a manifold for SU Sidedraft carbs like Vaughn did back in the day, I have seen those manifolds and they didn't look too hard to make.

Thanks Mike .. I thought as much .. I am currently undertaking a TIG welding course and hopefully I will be skilled enough to make a manifold up .. just wondering what type of SU carbies, would suit... I have a couple off a Morris Minor 1000 but they look a little small for the job ..

I have a Twin Carb manufold that I would sell. It has two ears broken, one on the exhaust outlet and the other on one of the runner attachments to the head. but these can be easily fab'd and brazed on. If you are interested, email me and I will sned pic's.
