I stumbled across a picture of your car at http://www.nashvillebritishcarclub.com/showpics.html taken at the 2004 Nashville British Car Show. Mike Long, your club pres, confirmed it as yours. Nice looking car. I was quite impressed by the broad cross section of cars at the show, including some interesting pre war.

Nashville Car Show

Post by Mark Thompson »

Peter,
Thanks for the comments. The Nashville Show had quite a collection in 2004.
We had a group of Brits touring the States with a Jaguar Club. They brought their cars across the pond and stopped off at our show. It was quite an impressive colection.

My car is a restored barn find. It had been sitting in a barn for 20 years and had to be completely restored. I stripped it down to the frame, sand blasted the frame, replaced about 80% of the wood and completed the restoration in about two years. I have put 4000 miles on the car in the two years since I restored it. I have been to 14 car shows, received 12 first place awards and two best of shows. Last month I purchased another project, a 1953 4ADT. This one is a rolling chassis and power train that was stripped down over twenty years ago. It is in worse shape and will require 100% wood replacement. This one may take a little longer!
