Happy New Year to you all

For now, I lumped all the pre-war cars together, I would LOVE for there to be enough demand to split it into groups (hint...hint, post here about your pre-war Singer)

Happy New Year to you all

Post by mothy »

Heres to a Happy and Prosperous New Year to everybody.

I took the SLM to the New Years Day meeting of the VSCC at Much Marcle in Herefordshire.
I was clustered in with the Austin 7s.
It was great to be out and about again in the car.

Afterwards while emptying the beer tank I spotted this in the pub toilets.

We had our share of rather cold weather recently - I measured -19C one night.
The only effect of that on the Singer was the radiator cap fell to pieces.
I was so glad to find that after liberal application of plus gas that there were two threaded stumps on the cap for new nuts to hold it all together again.

Cheers
