Postby Stephen » Thu Oct 03, 2013 11:09 pm

Hi Everyone, The Historic Motor Vehicle Club of Victor Harbor along with the Victor Harbor Council will be running the 3rd British Classic Tour on Sunday May 4th 2014.
The 2013 tour had a 144 British Classics and was an outstanding success, next years will be even bigger and better as we already have 44 entrants 7 months from the event.
The event starts at the Historic Motor Vehicles Club rooms in Jolly street Victor Harbor, where entrants are treated to a devonshire tea before the Tour Manager speech, and the cars are flagged off at approximately 11 am for a run thru the picturesque Fleurieu Penninsular for approximately 1 1/2 hours ( depending on your vehicle capabilities). on completion of the tour the vehicles are lined up in the main street and grassy reserve in the heart of lovely Victor Harbor for the general public to view.
Trophies are presented during the afternoon for best cars and best period dressed participants.
This event is proving very popular and is growing larger each year, so do not miss the chance to show off your Singer or other British Classic Car.
