Rear seats completed, all side panels completed, carpet cut and fitted, still to be trimmed.

I love isolation to get jobs done.

Hi, could someone post a photo of the front foot well carpet arrangement ie around peddles, gear box extension etc. Is it one piece from the seats through the foot well?

Re: Upholstery - inner linnings

Thankyou, I have cut the over arch timber backing as one piece, but I can easily split that into two. Regarding the piping or rolled over vinyl, the green car seems to have only along the top, somewhere in my memory I was told this is the way, but the red car appears to show it all the way around. I...

Re: Upholstery - inner linnings

Thanks. Looking through my photo file I notice that some cars have piping going all around the door and some only across the top. Also the rear piping may only be on top or come all the way down the door? Any ideas, or does it matter. Hope you are staying well over there, so far all is OK here altho...

Upholstery - inner linnings

Hi - I am about to cover the door and inner innings - for all of these I have ply backings to mount padding and lining onto. But for the lining of the guards adjacent to the back seat, was the lining material and padding glued directly to the metal or was there a timber backing there as well. Some c...

Re: 33-34 Front seat upholstery

Corona virus isolation - completed first back seat upholstery, or at least the front, next the back of the seat in carpet before I get too far ahead of myself. I have already made a template for base but I think I will tackle front two backs first. I should be bleeding breaks etc getting ready to st...

Re: Le Mans radiator fixing

When I dismantled mine it had a pair of old rubber shoe heels, size 11! That is about 1/2 inch which is what I have replaced, with solid rubber, but shoe heels would still do the job. I had the bar in place and then tried to align the front of the bonnet with the radiator shell, I imagine every car ...

Brakes 33/34

A strange request, but can anyone assist me with a photo or instructions on how the return spring on the brake pedal is fitted, mine didn't have one and while I have tried several configurations, none seem to work to my satisfaction, so over to the gurus? I may be trying to use too big or too small ...

Re: Steering rod nut

If you have one run a 3/8 tap through, sometimes the end thread on these nuts gets rough. Or if no tap try another bolt and us wd40 etc.

Your thread also looks like it needs a clean up
