Re: 1937 nine sports restoration
At least things are moving forward, confinement gives me some time to work on the car with the help of my friend Eric. He is more a citroen specialist but he adapts quickly and the new wiring loom is now almost connected. https://zupimages.net/up/20/14/ef0w.jpg https://zupimages.net/up/20/14/bfic.jpg

Re: Steering rod nut
I have received the 3/8 bsf nut i ordered but it doesn't fit more than a few threads on the axis.
Could it be another type of thread ? Not bsf ?

Thanks for your help , a 3/8 not a 5/8 nut. The ball moves freely, i'll grease it generously.

Re: 1937 nine sports restoration
The engine will be on the test bench later this month !!
And i should have it back in France therafter... With , i bet , a lot of consecutive trouble shooting and adjustment during the final reassembly.. I'm currently sending the radiator to a local shop for a recore. Thanks for asking !

Re: 1937 nine sports restoration
Thanks all. I'm still stuck with the engine... John should finish it pretty "soon".
By the way , i'd like to check the gearbox. Any thoughts about what i should look at, common weakpoints ?
