Board seems dead so lets post useless trivia :) On my 1.5 a previous owner really butchered the oil pan mounting studs, broke 5 or 6 of them and replaced 4 of them with wood screws, yes wood screws. Luckily this weekend I was able to remove 2 of the broken studs and there is NO damage to the threads...

Look at pictures 7 and 8 on this page, its for a Le Mans rear axle AND I did not get a picture of the front seal but picture 7 shows the axle seals and picture 8 shows the front plate without the seal but after machining for a seal, I replaced all the felt seals in my rear axle, It cost me $65 in ma...

Can't help you with the part numbers but when I needed seals a good 20+ years ago, I went to King Bearing and they had the seals on the shelf. That certainly implies they are a standard size used on something else.

machine shop...bah, that is no fun... I doubt you can remove them without a press, if you try you may damage things. But you don't need a expensive press, mine is a cheap Harbor Freight press and (I know you dont have one nearby but there has to be a similar store) and it did the job just fine. If y...

no idea their condition, no idea if any good or what but I can send you a couple in a week or so, have too many things to do this week to even consider Singer stuff, if you want them you pay shipping.

you missed "What's new pussycat" with Peter O'Toole, Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress and of course the biggest star of them all, a Singer Le Mans, its driven and seen in quite a bit of the movie.
