We are fortunate that the SOC and ASCO have been able to preserve the records and history behind most of these cars and share them with us.

Yes, Ron is eager to show off his soon to be newly minted restoration. It's great to see the potential for two west coast shows to take off.

Le Mans

This car placed 18th at Le Mans in '34. covering 1354 miles in 24 hours at an average speed of 56.5 mph. This would be an interesting car to own and not a bad price as it stands. Reserve not met however.

If British Motoring is organizing, it's the show to be at. Also Tony has already been there along with an HRG and Steve's car will be a real hit. Maybe I can convince him to come to Stowe as well if he's interested in a real intra-continental shakedown prior to the 2007 Peking to Paris race.

How about picking a spot or event such as the largest Brit car meet in California. The 28th annual Palo Alto British Car Meet may be appropriate. It has about the same volume as Stowe, but much better weather. You could even do what Dave Craig did for us at Stowe and get Singer to be a featured marq...

Wendell Bain at wbain@sonic.net has been corresponding with me recently and seems interested in the Club. He was very impressed with the web site (th...
