I believe you will have to have them made up. It's a pretty simple pipe from the manifold to the muffler. You have disconnected the brake rod to the rear mechanical brakes in order to isolate the hydraulic system, yes? If not, you are likely not getting a full stroke of the M/C. I found I was able to use an improvised lever to actuate the M/C while I operated the bleeder screws myself.

While I can't answer your question directly, I can tell you what I fit to my 4AD last year. They were shocks for a Chevy Luv pickup, and they fit well with very similar extended and collapsed length compared to the originals. The NAPA p/n is RR 94037.

Yes, definitely. It can be a bear to remove if the head is very corroded. If so you can drill the head off, and once the manifold is removed the remnant should be easy to remove with mole grips.

I have several rocker arm adjuster screws that are worn enough that they do not permit further tightening. Surely these screws are shared with other British cars as many use this type of adjustment. Can anyone tell me which other cars might work?
