Re: What's everyone working on

Well the big red barn is completed. Still a lot to do on the inside. Electrical, epoxy floors, build upper shelving, buy 2 lifts, yada, yada, yada. We chose red and white to help match our house. Here is a picture of it. I hope the picture attaches.

Pekka,

Thanks for the comment. Also thanks for the direct link. Don't use you tube much and the link will save the hunt & peck I use.

1952 4AD Motor Start up

Hello all,

I have completed a complete rebuild of a members Singer 1500 cc motor. Watch the video on www.youtube.com
Use the subject line above in the search box.

A bit crude on the engine stand and the ancillaries but got the job done.
Enjoy. :D :D

Re: Running board rubber ends

Stephen,

NASOC has a limited supply of this. It takes 86" to do both running boards. you need a steel strip (original) to hold the rubber. PM me to get cost.

Re: What's everyone working on

Well I tried a couple of times to attach a 125 kb picture without success. I am building my 900 sq ft garage with 14 ft eves. Oh and also rebuilding a members 4AD motor.

Re: Value -I apologize in advance

Scott, I'll take a stab at this. Concourse condition meaning just like off the showroom floor. Maybe as high as $18,000. Normal restoration range would be between $10,000 and $15,000. Please keep in mind these prices are subject to how bad the person wants the car. Please anyone else with an answer ...

4AD rocker arm adjuster screws & nuts

While I am not usually surprised at the threads on the Singer 4AD engine bolts & nuts( they are either BSF, Whitworth, or BA). I now have found that the rocker arm adjuster screw and nut are BSC (British Std Cycle). 5/16x26TPI. Anyone have a source for these??? Especially the adjuster screw. I h...
