What problem you have?
Does the tire not go in the place, or is the boot lid the problem?
There should be an oval hole for the tire, maybe this is the problem?

I used a modified universal rubber from Kramp, important is the shore, and the measurements.
The modification is just remove the standard welded nuts on the outside.
The engine on the picture is the standard nine for the 4A

I also placed pictures with measurements in the restoration part from Josandra, but if you need more specific data, I can take a picture with measurements from that part.

take the starter out, and try to set a big screwdriver on the flywheel, then you can try both directions.
But start with spark plugs out, and some WD40 in the cylinders.
