Re: New Project
Nice to find the radiator badge; if it was mine, I would just clean it and touch in the missing enamel with black cellulose and a rigger brush.

Re: New Project

Re: 1933/34 4 Seater Seats
Is your car a 1933 or a 1934?
The 1933 cushion sat directly onto the floor, whilst the 1934 car had a higher scuttle and so the cushion sat in the seat frame.

Re: Singers on the road!
I have caught up with the (new) owner of the 1933 Sports Nine I spotted back in July, and we met yesterday at a VSCC lunchtime meeting - here it is with my Chamois: https://s20.postimg.org/ys7u39oel/P1060672.jpg ... and next to a 1934 Riley Nine Lynx: https://s20.postimg.org/sfsotflcd/P1060668.jpg

Re: Washer stuck in timing chain
Continuing the Singer/Riley theme, yesterday I was able to make an interesting comparison between a 1933 Sports Nine and a Riley Lynx:

This was my brother's Lincock Nine which he owned for well over forty years, before he too began to find the steer...

Harold Hastings was an Autocar journalist - he may have been their Midlands Editor,I'm not sure; 'Rivers' is A F Rivers-Fletcher (1912-1999), racing driver, journalist and historian.

Re: SOC National Rally 2017
If you were looking at the three rear-ends, they were, in fact, 2-litres, not 1½s! They were very, very nicemikeyr wrote:I agree, the 1.5's really caught my eye. I am game to try for 2018
