Re: New Project

Hey Colin, Steve certainly did a lovely job on the radiator. What was the final bill? I have two 9HP rads that need re-coring.

Cheers,

Re: Roadster Starter Fault

Hope the starter solenoid repairs went well. This is the type used on the later LM and Sports as well as the A Roadster. The later type mounted on the scuttle on the 4A and 4AD suffers the same problem but is a sealed unit and not so easy to fix! I have seen these lever pull type starter solenoids f...

Re: Hello

Colin! What an awesome find that radiator was! Mike has helped me with pre-war parts in the past and is a real Singer enthusiast and a pleasure to deal with. A fellow Editor too! My Senior had the same "spin" type wiper motor conversion as well, although I now have an original vacuum type ...

Re: Hello from a Gloucestershire Newbie

Hey Stu, Welcome aboard and welcome to the NASOC Singer Bulletin Board! The pre-war Singer Roadster was based on the Bantam Saloon chassis and running gear and only built for a short period before the war. The post-war A series, as well as the 4A that followed, were based on the newer "light Te...

Re: Original 1934 Le Mans

Absolutely love these period photos!

Great for getting the magnifying glass out and checking for original details...beautiful!

I'll see if I can dig out a few...maybe we should start a new thread for period pre-war photos?!
