Re: Hello from a Gloucestershire Newbie
Hi I am relatively local to you, Severn Stoke near Upton upon Severn. I used to own a Singer Le Mans, however, that now lives about 4 miles from me. A monthly meet that may interest you - hear me out! - is the third Wednesday from about 7pm at the Farmers Arms, Birtsmorton. Nominally it is a MGCC ga...

Re: 1934 car electronic
I don't know why it disappeared from my web site.....
I extracted the relevant part (from the 250 odd pages) and put it in place.

Re: Lucus Auto Electrics Explained
Yes this is an excellent set of documents. Despite all the rude things said about Lucas and "The Prince of Darkness". I believe these comments to be wholly unjustified. A Lucas apprenticeship was second to none and I have met a few who did this apprenticeship. Many cars in the 1930s had a ...

Re: LM 1935 Hand Brake Lever
I wonder if the previous owner bent the lever hard over to stop,it grinding into his knee! I felt like doing that sometimes. It was the same with my TR4 (RHD).

Re: Hello
I too can recommend the led headlamp bulbs from dynamo regulator conversions. As a result of fitting them I am able to wind the three brush dynamo back from from 8 amps to 3 amps, this will help the working life of the dynamo no end. It is not driving at night that concerned me, but driving in poor ...

Re: ASinger LM is restored for TV
The black LM was my old car, and it was filmed at Loton Park. Thankfully the TV transmission was not in reverse mirror format as this film is! It was a great day out for me and the car.

Re: Merry Xmas
Yes indeed! Have a lovely holiday and lots of decent Singer time next year. My 1934 Singer Le Mans is now with a different custodian. Only 3 miles from me and he has known AYP for 25 years. I had a days TV filming in October with the Car SOS program at Loton Park hill climb near Shrewsbury. The prog...

Re: Please take a look in the classified sales
Well I never advertised it and now have second thoughts about moving it on. What's the betting that if I did get rid of the car that a dog would die or something.....
