Need Help rear end axel?
I am the owner of the Singer 4AD formerly owned by Peter Lee and I have a bent rear axel. Peter had installed an Austin A50 engine and gear box in the car, but I don't know what rear end he used. It is not a Singer, that I know. In order to get a new axel I need to know the make and model, if anyone...

Re: Singer 4 AD Front Wheel Brake Adjusters
An update about my front brake problem. It turned out to be a problem with the brake shoes. I had them reshoed and the drums resurfased' not turned' and everything works like it did in 1953. If your brakes pull to one side check the shoes for moister and or oil this will cause them to pull. Thanks t...

Re: Running board rubber ends
How about a picture of these ends you all are talking about. My running boards have black rubber inserted into an aluminum holder one about 13 inches long the other about 26 inches with the rubber end tapered on each end. See attached picture.

Thanks Stephen & Pekka for your expertise with this problem. I hope to have everything back in working order soon. Nothing is easy with these Singers, but so much fun.

Singer 4 AD Front Wheel Brake Adjusters
My front wheel brakes won't stay adjusted on the right wheel. How do I repair the snail adjuster so they stay adjusted? Can the adjusters be replaced, and if so how and where can I purchase them? I have removed the drum to see what the problem might be and it appears to be that the adjusters are loo...

Re: Bracket attached to windscreen, 4AD
Mark: Thanks for your input on the bracket. I just can't find anything that tells me what they are for, I know they are not needed because my MGTD does not have one and everything works fine. I hope someone on the Forum can shed some light.

Stephen: Thanks for the picture of what you have on your car. Is there another footman's loop down further behind the tyre?

Seat bracket ( track) for a 4AD?
I need the track that is attached to the bottom of the seats. My passenger side has a number of missing "wheels". See attached photo of what I am looking for to replace the damaged track. Notice that the two wheels are missing from the bottom of each side.

Mark could you post a picture of the installation of your new Pentronix electronic ignition module? It would help me understand how it works.
