I have used Coker tires on my antique motorcycles. They are a good quality tire that retain the look of the old style tires from years ago. I would recommend them.

Re: Hello 2010! Car Show our west anyone???
I formally registered for the Queens show, so a V6AD will be there. I have been making improvements to cut down on the air coming in all of the little cracks and crevices. This will definitely help in case of rain. It is ready to go.

Here is an incentive for all of those Singerites who are thinking of attending. I will be there with my V-6AD. Anyone wishing to drive a V-6 powered AD is welcome to give it a try!

Re: Queen's English - Van Nuys, Calif. March 8th
Mike, I received my sidecurtains. Of course they need modifications to work. If by some miracle KIP Motors sends me my canvas by Thursday I might be able to finish them. I would not want to drive 350 plus miles each way without some wind protection with the weather they are predicting. I will keep y...

Re: 4 AD Side Curtains
Andy,
I found my answer in one of the photos Paul Bouchard posted when he rescued the Singer collection. It is indeed only the top portion, but it will give me a good starting point.
Thanks, Dave

4 AD Side Curtains
These side curtain frames are listed on eBay. Can anyone tell me if they are correct for a 1952 4AD? I was going to fabricate my own and these would give me a good start. ebay item # 150316241117
Thanks, Dave

Mike, It was so cold here in NW Arizona that we got 5 inches of snow on Wednesday and they released us early from school. They even cancelled school today because of the roads. My Singer is done except for making the side curtains. My new project is a 1962 Sunbeam Alpine. Dave Green has been supplyi...

Re: V-6 Singer 4 AD
Hi Andy, My Singer has a steering column from a different car. It looks to be from a Triumph. It exits throught the firewall into the engine compartment about 8 inches; angled towards the fender. A universal joint connects it to a straight shaft to the rack and pinion. I added a pillow block(bearing...

Re: V6 - 4AD Update
I ordered the convertible top from KIP Motorcars. They said it would take about 3 weeks. I was not in a hurry, but I called after three weeks just to see how things were going. I waited another 3 weeks and the top arrived on my doorstep. I had to order the Lift the Dot fasteners separately. Ouch! Th...

Re: V-6 Singer 4 AD
Steve, I used Mustang II front spindles and brakes. You will need to take the spindles to a machine shop. The machinist has to bore through the ball joint holes to allow for bushings to be used on the Singer kingpins. This is a very involved operation. If things are not set up correctly it will affe...

Re: Starter and Dynamo
Michael,
I emailed a friend of mine who rebuilds starters and alternators for a living. Here is his reply.
"The armature and drive are different as well as the brush locations,( off by 90 deg's) It is actually a different starter."
