It is a Bantam Coupe that was only built in 1937

Re: Advertising material

The only 4 seater Le Mans was the 1935 car all others are designated as 4 seater Sports
There is detail of the 1935 4 seater in the 1935 models brochure

Re: Fuel tank sender
Hi To the person who is going to use a tank unit from a Bettle have you checked if it it has the matching resistance for the gauge? My most recent use of VDO products was the gas tank on my Bantam. Via my local Speedometer shop VDO supplied an adapter for the five and six screw holes, an adjustable ...

Re: Wiring question
Not wires - but the RED car needs a rubber grommet where the brake pipe goes through the chassis

Re: rear brakes Bantam & 10 hp
Hi Paul Thanks for your reply. In the end I took off the rear hub. There is so little room between the backing plate and the leaf spring on the Bantam that only OE spanner can be used. Loosening the brake cable was also done. One advantage of getting the thing off is that assembly can be done on the...

Has anyone with a Bantam or 10 hp any ideas on getting the rear brake shoes off WITHOUT pulling out the hub and half shaft,

Re: Singer Super Ten
Hi Bryan
Where in Aus are you? Have you joined SCCA? Two Super 10 hp were advertised for sale in the recent club magazine.
There is plenty of information available.
I live in Melbourne.
Best wishes

Re: 1934 Singer 11 - ebay
I have a 1935 Singer 11 hp. When I acquired it the wooden frame was falling apart. A difficult and expensive exercise to restore. Which I have not done.
The value of a restored 11 hp could not relate to the cost of the work.

Re: Bypass oil filter for 1074 cc engine
Hi Philip I looked at that site and found that details are not given about the filter used inside the canister. I am considering using something using 1/4 inch BSP threads and the filter mounted on the firewall/bulkhead so that one does not have to dive down to the starter and spill oil while discon...

Bypass oil filter for 1074 cc engine
Has any one found a suitable modern replacement for the original bypass filter which is no longer available.
Bypass filters are being offered for a number of modern car makes but I suspect it would be a custom job for a Singer

Re: Nine sports - fuel gauge
Hi Neil
The fuel gauge in my car is an AC brand as is the unit in the tank. That is what Singer used.
If you have a different brand but it works well then I would stick with it.
If the gauge or tank unit fails then VDO can supply replacements/

Hi
The rubber bushes on the Roadster springs are also used on the Morris Minor so you might try a source of Morris parts
