Re: 1952 4AD Roadster rear axle wanted

It's highly unlikely. The axles were notoriously bad when new. Singer Motors couldn't keep up with the demand for replacements in the U.S. so Vaughan Singer Motors in California took the route of making their own.

Phil
As part of your regular update, it might be beneficial to provide a rolling tally of how close we are to our target of 22 cars. Nice to see that we now have a minimum of 4 pre war cars that will attend assuring us of a separate pre war class.

Singer Season

I just wanted to thank Mike for sending some California weather northwards. It is mid March and we are enjoying July weather. My car has been cleaned and polished for the season and I have already had it out several times. Way to get a jump on the season.

Re: STOWE 2012 OFFICAL THREAD - CHECK HERE FOR LATEST NEWS..

We are all confident that you will organize an event to remember. When you say in your post above "We can also confirm that the Invasion will extend the option for a separate class for Pre-War Singers", does that mean that they have agreed to provide for a separate class for it in their pr...

Re: STOWE 2012 OFFICAL THREAD - CHECK HERE FOR LATEST NEWS..

The NASOC banner has always been flown and the event is advertised in the NASOC News as NASOC's only National meet, so I think we can safely say it is sanctioned by the club. I agree, putting some money into formal awards is a terrific idea.

Re: STOWE 2012 OFFICAL THREAD - CHECK HERE FOR LATEST NEWS..

Thank you for the update Phil. It is this type of detailed update that is required to keep the enthusiasm high. As a NASOC sanctioned event, it also helps give the Executive a better perception of how things are progessing. And while it appears early, it's not really, given the time and financial co...

Re: STOWE 2012 OFFICAL THREAD - CHECK HERE FOR LATEST NEWS..

There is no doubt that the event will be a smashing success for the club, even if there were to be no prior advertisement or display as happened last year. The group of 8-10 who have participated in the event in the past will always return as it is a major social event and highlight of the Singer se...

Re: STOWE 2012 OFFICAL THREAD - CHECK HERE FOR LATEST NEWS..

Good to know Phil. It might be worthwhile to post what those options might be in order to maximize anticipation for what should be a magnificent event. I would also propose that a list of attendees be posted on the website early in the game so everyone is aware of how close the Club is to the target...
