Re: Hello

Great to see Colin It is so hard for younger people to join the vintage car fold. While I am only 60 my son would have maintained and loved a vintage vehicle if he had access to one also. Re: Singer Junior Project

Progress has been extremely slow, ah well such is life,
Hope your projects are faster.
How should the throttle linkage be installed? My guess is forward of the "firewall" if you can call it that being timber, having massive holes and a fuel tank attached? Oops photo failed will try again

Re: Singer Junior Project

I am ...

Re: Singer Junior Project

Hi Colin
Great that the run went well.
Thanks for the photo, that's the bits in trying to get joined, any idea what the bushing between the bolt and the casting is made of?
Regards
David

Re: Singer Junior Project

Hi
I just found this nice brass hose clamp. It is a Sherman. What would have been original on the Singer Junior 1930?

Great progress Colin. Those singer machines are hard to get and expensive here in western Australia. Enjoy it.

Re: Singer Junior Project

Hi
I have now got three magnetos with enough bits to try for an assembly.
Any hints about the internal gearing setup, before I bumble on?
