I would like information on the type of gasket material and thickness that I will need for the following gaskets.
Sealing Washer: Head Side Plate
Gasket for Manifold to Exhaust Pipe

Thanks to all for the information. Dave Green did have a spare flange, so I'm getting it.

I am restoring a 53 4AD transmittion(gearbox) and have a problem with the u joint flange was damaged by rust where the oil seal rides.

Can this surface be repaired and how?

Also, are oil seals for this unit available and what are the replacement part numbers and where an I get them?

Thanks to Kenlis Pearce I have the formulation for the Sunset Orange engine paint. It was formulated in Ontario, by a Auto Body Supplies house.

I am looking for inforation and availability of the engine paint for my 53 4AD engine. Kenlis said he had found the paint but I can not remember where and from whom?

Stowe was a great success. We had a wonderful time. All the Singers and those other cars where just beautiful. We did have a tremendous time on our roadrally, that has become a tradition for the Singer club. We might be a small group, but we do get noticed! Thanks to the Singer garage and Paul's lat...

My registration was mailed today. I will be trailering our girl, Sophie, to the event. Hope to see old and new faces there.
Wish us luck on the trip. This will be the longest trip so far.

I found this car just 100 miles west of Chicago, Illinois.

He wants to get rid of it or he will junk it. Hope someone will pick it up soon. Would not like to see a Singer go to scrap yard.

I have checked with Bill Haverly and he does not have anybody in England that will make the bonnet. He could not give me anything on the sidescreens.
However, I have ordered a set of sidescreens from Trevor, but have not hear on the delivery.
