The lucas King of the road are the name on the headlights. Yes, the trim is for the bonnet sides. It is rusty but usable. $100.00 plus shipping for everything.

Re: 1952 4AD parts.
Mike,
I took a better look and I can see where someone has welded the spring perches on. I am still wondering what car had 3 axle studs.

Re: 1952 4AD parts.
Ok, I am stumped. The rear axle out this pile of parts only has 3 wheel studs. I have never seen this before. The front hubs have 4. I have nothing to compare it to because my 1952 AD has a Ford axle in it.

Re: 1952 4AD parts.
So, My friend and I drove to Bakersfield, CA from Kingman, AZ to pick up this pile of parts. If you can believe it; it once was a 1952 Singer 4 AD. There are some good parts, but most of it will be going to the scrap yard. Engine block is cracked. P.O. cut the frame in half because it was bent. It w...

Re: Anti Freeze ?
Yes. I built a 1965 Ford Ranchero for a friend and used Evans waterless coolant. I bought it through Amazon, I think it was $43 a gallon.
The only problem I foresee is if you develop a leak and someone adds regular antifreeze.

I would remove the cotter pin and place a piece of steel behind the pin and peen it over insitu.. I see no need to remove the chain from the engine.

Re: Need help on value of 53 4AD project
My suggestion is to remount the body on the car and spray it in primer. Get it assembled as much as possible to make it look like a more complete car. Maybe someone will see the potential and buy it. If they can drive it they are more likely to buy it. Cosmetics make the car sell, the better it look...
