I'm in the final stages of reassembling my engine and low and behold I can't seem to find a thermostat anywhere! Nor can I find a place to put one if I did find it. I can't seem to find the proper size freeze plugs for my engine. It looks like I need aprox 1.171 inch ( 29.75mm) plugs. Does anyone have a source for these or alternate ideas, short of re-spot facing the case?

Can anyone out there tell me what the diameter of the big end of a 4AD connecting rod should be. All my books are for the 4A and 4AB. My "new" roadster threw a rod bearing and so I'm in the process of an overhaul.

Trevor still sells tops and side curtains, but they are very expensive - around $2000 for the set plus shipping. I'm still looking for a set of patterns or samples to copie.
