No, I had no reply to my post or a call on my Cell Phone regarding the needed Wheel. Still waiting for someone who might have one to spare. Thanks for reminding me.

Re: 4A Front Suspension Rebuild
To add another supplier, Energy Suspension has a ;large set of offerings in the "Universal" section of their catalog. An even better source than Prothane.

Need a 4AD wheel
In going over my wheels to ready them for Powder Coating I found that the Spare wheel was seriously damaged. Looks like someone curbed it badly and the warp is near impossible to get out. Does anyone have a spare 52 4AD vintage wheel. This is the 16" wheel without the numerous vent holes in it....

Side Windows - 4AD
Does anyone have some detailed photos of a rebuild on these parts? I want to check a couple of things as I rebuild mine from the powder coater. Could use close-ups on both inside and outside. Is there a flap on the drivers side for such things as hand signals when necessary? Any other points much ap...

Re: Fender Beading
Keder not Kedder. Sorry for any confusion. Sailright has black for $1.45/ft, White for $1.20/ft

Re: Fender Beading
In the canvas makers supply is a produce called Kedder. It is available in black or white, and it has a sew through flap on it that can be placed between the fender and body and everywhere else. It runs less than a $1/foot if you find the right source, but it shows up in an internet search as Kedder...

Re: 4A Front Suspension Rebuild
By searching the folks that provide Polyurethane suspension and engine mount parts in the US, I found that there is a nearly exact part out there with the flanged end on it that only requires you to shorten it by about an 1/8" by running it through a band saw. I replaced every one on my car bot...

Re: Solex carb - how to find another one help needed
I have a manifold with two carbs and linkage. The manifold has some cracks that could be repaired but the carbs and linkage just need cleaning/replating as appropriate. I've seen Solex 30 rebuild kits on eBay. Contact me directly at bmlindbert@aol.com and I will send pic's and we can discuss details...

Re: Upper Radiator Hose
A part is on the way from the supplier in the UK. The part is even made of Kevlar. Cost 16 GBP and 11GBP to ship to US. Thanks for the recommendation. They take PayPal or CC.

Upper Radiator Hose
I have suddenly been struck with a leaking upper radiator hose. It is of the rolling flex type with a smaller attachment to the radiator and a much larger attachment to the engine stat housing.

Re: Air Cleaner - Dirigible Type
As a reply to all who may be reading this thread, does anyone know of a source for the Dirigible itself that I could get, either original, reproduction, New old stock, or current production for either Singer or another make that used it as well. I am finding that there are many alternatives out ther...

Re: Air Cleaner - Dirigible Type
I don't have the elbow, but could cast one in aluminum if necessary, or fab it up from weldments. The Dirigible Cleaner makes a much better looking engine compartment as it covers up some of the cam cover hardware. That's where I was going with this.

Air Cleaner - Dirigible Type
I am looking for a "Dirigible Style" air cleaner to replace my Pancake Type. Does anyone know where they might be obtained. Are they a Shelf part adapted to the Singer or specific made? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Brake uprade - safety
Just a suggestion. I shipped my Master Cyl to Apple Hydraulics and they completely rebuilt it including boring it and placing a brass sleeve in the bore to eliminate future moisture corrosion. They can be reached at 631-369-9515.
