Re: Looking for parts '54 4AD

front wheel cylinders are indeed Austin 100, any decent auto parts store can get them and if they specialize in British cars, they probably have them on the shelf.

Re: spammers

just thought I would mention something odd and good. Yesterday (June 7) we had 0 spam registrations !!! That is the first time in well over a year that no spammers/robots tried to register. Don't feel bad for them, they will catch up

Re: lockheed decal

Hello, I got a email from Bill and this is his words. When I posted it, the picture order got reversed, so first one is the new one, second is his original. Hi folks; here's the latest on the Lockheed decal. I have sourced a similar one by following up the MG SVWspares lead and have decided to go wi...

Re: WANTED Singer Car Owners Information

Perfect, a Singer, a Mini and a Morgan, you would be right at home at my house. But my Singer is in pieces, my Mini is bare metal right now and there has not been a 3-wheel Mog in my garage in years. I might have to stop by and say hi next time I am up in North Cal.

Re: California 1.5 Litre

Your car is SPECTACULAR !!

I do wish I had gotten the body, it would have sped up my LM but they wont talk to me, oh well I did make good progress on the wood before I stopped.

Re: California 1.5 Litre

I recognize that car ! :)

Unfortunately, I don't know when it will see the light of day any more. Some things happened that soured me on Singer's and I got into other cars and ignored Singer's. But you never forget your first love and it will get done, has to, the wife said so.

Re: Heritage certificates

if you are in the U.S. the year is often incorrect. Back then in many states (Calif. was one of them) states would list the model year as the first year the car was sold. So it is possible to have a 1953 model car listed as a 1952 if you bought it in December 52 for example, or 54 or 55 depending on...

Re: New Pre-War Singer engine castings...

I would be happy if they did a 6cylinder 1.5Litre block, but I could not afford their 9 block so I doubt I could afford their 1.5 :)

Re: last car I promise...Mini

I was asked what my progress is on the mini. I guess you guys want to work on my Singer. Engine and gearbox are done. Conversion from LHD to RHD is ready, on a Mini that is mostly buying new parts. New brakes and suspension parts are ready. So it's down to body work. Some rust repair first then a co...

I will be done with the Mini soon, so anytime you want to come help with my LM will be fine with me.

Re: 1952 Singer 4AD after 5 1/2 years!

I have towed cars cross country on open trailers which would be less expensive to rent and you may have something that can haul that. For me the only scary part of the open trailer is night time when i am sound asleep in the hotel and the car is out there in the parking on the trailer, but I have ne...
