Re: 1934 Windscreen Posts / staunchness

Hello Darcy I recently restored the windscreen posts/pivots for my 1934 Le Mans 9. A couple of images of the original parts and some working sketches I made are attached. I needed to hand fettle the parts as I went along, especially to ensure that the tabs on the upper arms were a good fit in the l...

Singer Guard Sticker

Found yesterday at Sydney All Britich Day - Singer badge stickker with Chrome/paper background, the badge can be cut out of chrome backing and should be perfect for rear guard. It is the same size as Radiator badge. AUD5 - local supplier details included. How waterproof is yet to be determined, but ...

Re: Singer pictures from personal archives

From: Let's #ThrowbackThursday again this week to the book "Where Cycle, Motor Cycles and Cars are made" with a look at the image of a "corner the heavy machinery department" - another fascinating insight to the working conditions (or at least those Singer wanted to show it it's ...

Re: Singer badging

Yes. I remember seeing Stan Pearson's beautiful and unrestored red LM at a 1980s SND. The only time I have every seen an original Singer badge decal on the rear wing. On the subject of badges, when was the last time you saw one of these? Ignore the screw, but these badges were fitted to some LMs to...

Re: Singer pictures from personal archives

It looks like a cover but on close examination it could be lighting, but it doesn't really matter as it is definitely a very early LM at the airport. As has been said before, how many more old photos are there, I have attached a photo of an Australian built version of a 33/34 LM 4 seater on a rollin...

Re: Singer pictures from personal archives

From the duck tail back, the aluminium panels of front of rear guard and the early front guards, it is definitely a Singer and I would say your guess is spot on

Re: Singer pictures from personal archives

Seen at Schipol airport, dated 1929, in an historical series of the airport, near gate D26, departures. But to my mind this is definitely a 1933/34 Singer 4 seater LM. Thoughts? Sorry about the detail but this the best possible from the wall size photo. Maybe someone in Holland with contacts at the ...

Decals in General

Maybe warranting a seperate stream, but does any one have a listing of what decals there were on 33/34 LMs (or other for that matter)?
