Re: LM 1935 Hand Brake Lever

This is most likely off something entirely different. The LM handbrake is a cast piece and as such would break rather than bend to this degree.

Vendor/Service Provider Contact List

Mike et al Looking at Klaus' posting this morning, it occurred to me that we should have a vendor/Service Provider Contact List somewhere on the site where members have found parts and/or solutions to their issues. I'm sure that there will be others that face the same issue as Klaus has and somewher...

Re: A few pics

Another Dutch car. This one a lovely 1.5 litre. What a beautiful machine. Mike, it has to give you some incentive to get that Le Mans on the road.

Re: A few pics

It looks good, but as you recall, it had some serious mechanical issues Here's another of my favourites. I took this shot in Northampton. Love this car.

A few pics

Always nice to see Singers in a non-show environment being used as they should be. The Silent Six on the hoist is a beauty (it was being inspected for a noisy wheel bearing). The 1.5 litre is for you Mike. I think you spent some time working on this one before it was supposed to go on the Peking to ...

Re: 1954 Roadster Series 4AD for sale in Southern California

FYI, I've put this on the Singer Owners Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Singer-Owners-1508202359490030/?ref=aymt_homepage_paneland ASCO picked it up immediately to place it on theirs. So it is now visible world wide. Looks like a great restoration project with lots of original stuff. Can't...

Re: Hello

Even when you put the parts away yourself, sometimes you forget the sequence. Especially after months, years or decades pass between disassembly and restoration. Looking very good Colin.

Re: Wanted fan pulley 1934 lemans

Very observant Phil if not a little cryptic, although I didn't say it was on the crank. It seems likely that if as Simon says "it looks like someone has dropped the engine on the fan pulley and cracked 2 sections off it" that this is the most likely bit to be broken. The internal component...

Re: Wanted fan pulley 1934 lemans

Simon,
I assume you mean the lower pulley that operates the fan. These have a tendency to crack and ultimately break apart. Sally Hardwick stocks replacement pulleys.

Re: '34 door latch

Darcy, The second one should be as close to correct, although you don't show what's at the opposite end of the bar where the inside door handle would appear . I don't see the one with the lever arm working, as the entire mechanism should remain under the door upholstery panel. If neither work, I wou...

Re: Hello

I second that. I have to say, that service from the UK to Canada is exceptional, even through the regular mail channels. I can usually count on receiving things within about 4 days. Regrettably, packages from the U.S. take up to three weeks. I don't know why the difference.
