Sorry,
I must have specified that it is for a ENV center diff, not a Moss.
Thanks

Nine Crown Wheel bolts torque
Hi gents,
Would you know the torque number used for the crown wheel bolts, on a Nine sport differential ?
I know that you need to fit some cotter pins but....
Thanks in advance.

Re: Singer Nine/Bantam brakes
I should have said that the diameter of the brakes is 8" . And from the info I have received it is no 8" on Singers Nine, they are 10" and bigger on 1.5 liter. So ! Not sure where they come from . Anyway, I have 10" brakes in stock, then I will use the front as the 10" backi...

Singer Nine/Bantam brakes
Hi Gents, Would you have per chance pictures or drawings of brake assembly ? I try to re assemble my front and rear brakes from bits and pieces. And as some parts are missing or worn out it would be good to have some ways of knowing what goes where . Cannot find much online. I am a bit stumped at th...

Re: Counter balanced crankshaft oil plugs
The last plug was the hardest, I had to use my TIG instead of MIG to weld the screwdriver onto that   plug. Matter of fact I would recommend to use a TIG to remove them, for some reasons on two plugs it was really difficult to weld onto. Anyway I am glad to have been able to remove...

Re: Counter balanced crankshaft oil plugs
Brian, save the bit of your impact driver. You will not move the plugs but twist the bit badly.

Re: Counter balanced crankshaft oil plugs
I went a different way to remove the plugs, by welding a nut and using the heat to undo the plug. Worked quite alright after several failed attempts. 20211209_093046 - Copy.jpg 20211209_095834 - Copy.jpg This one gave me some grief ! 20211209_155814 - Copy.jpg And I removed this from pin #2 !! 20211...

Re: Counter balanced crankshaft oil plugs
Well? I am in situation where the ports are plugged by hard old sludge/debris/corrosion. I try to prod them with steel wire and anything that I can fit in but to a certain deep and as port change direction. Used toluene and other toxic product but... So it is a bit of damned if you do and damned if ...

Counter balanced crankshaft oil plugs
Hi Gents, Did you ever try to remove/undo , the oil plugs and oil pipes on a counter balanced crank ?? Because even by removing the punch point and applying some light heat on a plug, resulted on a twisted screwdriver bit, and a slightly damaged plug . Any help, as usual, will be really appreciated....

Valve springs
Did you have ever checked the rate of the valve springs when you rebuilt your engine (s) ? I did checked mine, and my results are far from the values of the manual. I have some specs for a 1936/38 9Hp , and 1938 10Hp who are: Spring in engine , valve closed , spring compressed to the height of 1.442...
